"We seem to be going through a period of nostalgia, and everyone seems to think yesterday was better than today. I don't think it was, and I would advise you not to wait ten years before admitting today was great. If you're hung up on nostalgia, pretend today is yesterday and just go out and have one hell of a time. "
You mention something in your comment that I truly had never thought of...that you would do it again (the friendship). And you know...you're right. Even w/ everything w/ my friend Tina...I would do it again if given the chance. I would not trade the times that we did. I guess that is, in fact, a big reason why it does hurt. I truly don't think I've ever thought of it that way. Thanks for that. :)
Jonathan Swift said,
"May you live all the days of your life." I hope I do. I like to write here sometimes, a very impermanent, electronic reflection of my constantly changing path. I find writing and photography to be practices in presence as well as mediums for organizing thought. Some of the connections I've made here are more important to me than I could have imagined.
That's funny...I like it!
