Injuries stink! So sorry you're dealing with painful knees. Have you ever heard of apitherapy? I don't know the extent of your condition, but I know a lot of people (including myself) have found it useful for inflammatory conditions.
It's basically just bee venom, either applied via the actually sting of a bee, or in emu oil (which has restorative properties itself). Check out www.beesinabottle.com for some info - it's pretty neat!
